Absolutely no work life balance, gives anxiety, working on weekends as well as public holidays, unrealistic expectations from hierarchy and they support working on weekends and public holidays which is the main culprit, HR conducts various training and wellness sessions but we cannot attend a single session

Asian paints is a very good company to work with. I was a fresher when I joined and I have learnt a lot during my stint in the company. The staff and the seniors I had have all contributed to my career growth. Asian paints is the only company I have worked with and I feel very glad to have been associated with such a great organization.

Dislikes

One thing I always felt while I was in the company was the struggle to balance work and home. Not that the peers or seniors weren't co-operative, but everyone sailed in the same boat.

It was not at all satisfactory as there was no outing no much training as we continue to do the same monotonous job years together. It lacks work life balance.

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
