Completely depends on your manager and team. The culture is top down with managers having enormous clout. This is especially true at director level and above, as they pick and choose their favourite for plum projects and exposures and onsite opportunities. Compensation is good while joining, be prepared to do double the work based on your designation and team culture. There's a lot of politics at all levels, be prepared to get crushed and move forward if it's not your cup of tea. But if you spend two years then it starts getting easier.. you'll understand the political environment and learn to steer away from groups and individuals.. Monetary benefits are good. Mostly no late evening calls.
Company culture is very age old. If the leadership likes you, you're safe. If we raise any concern or question, we're done. False hopes will be given by HR and the team manager. Due to security reasons, we can't have teams and mail access in our phone. Even when we have a critical emergency, we're expected to inform through email or teams from the laptop. We should not have personal emergency situations. Even If we fall in any such situations (even closed one death), we're expected to report at the office immediately after the rituals. If we needed sometime to recover, we'll be replaced. Even escalation to the HRBP will be backfired. Investigations will be completely biased. Employee welfare is zero. It's not recommended to Join this company after experiencing in a good product based organization.
