Dislikes

Complex legacy products are there. Learning is not much as they have in house framework which is not used anywhere outside. Rating and appraisal policies are not good. They want you to excel in this domain/framework in a year or 6 months else you are out of the game. Work culture depends on project but overall not good. Don’t want to adapt new things and suggestions. Micromanagement is there as they monitor minute details of each n every task . Even if you are giving effort in learning new domain its all in vain if you don’t complete stories on time...Read More

1. For some teams tech stack is very old as they are still on legacy products. 2. As many of them got recruited during pandemic, bonding among the team mates is not that great as they have rarely met in person. 3. No free food (Not dislike though but would be a cherry on cake)

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
