There is no proper growth in some teams. Growth is purely dependent on the teams and kind of leadership, it is very minimal dependent on your skillset and efforts.

Dislikes

Nothing to dislike but the compensation and benefits could be better. They are a lot better compared to most companies however, I've seen competitors in the market offer more benefits and salaries for similar roles.

Best organisation to work with. If you can maintain your metrics (which is easier) then noone can bother you. You have your ownership of your work, you'll be working for customers, take decisions that favours the customers even if it's outside of SOP. Managers are good, leaves are good. Everything is great!

Dislikes

Sometimes the work pressure is high. In some teams SOP needs some improvements. Career growth is stagnant in some roles.

Growth is very slow. Salary is not up to the mark. Didn't convert to permanent employee even after completing the contract period, instead they just extended the contract.

There is no promotion, there is so much work pressure after 2023. Their sellers are not doing business with them, shifting their business to some other companies. Amazon is doing cost cutting with their employees.

Leave Benefits are good. Managers are friendly.

The Pay is pathetic compared to market standards. The Shift timings are pathetic. No Promotions for long time. Very little hike during appraisal. Nothing to learn new. You will get stuck here since the tools used here are used nowhere in market. Monotonous work. No new Projects.

Pros.- 1. Good for those who are restarting their career/ have career gap/fresher who don't know which profile will suit them or people who required wfh job. 2. Its a non voice role. 3. Generally they hire for 6 months contract. During this time you can check yourself whether this role is working for you or not. 4. Shift changes in every 3 months but generally it is possible to swap with others.

Cons.- 1. Highly underpaid job. 2. Salary range is 3-4. No matter what is your last drawn salary, you will be paid according to their range. For ex. a person having 3 years of experience will get maximum 4. 3. Its a contractual job, so some people become permanent after the initial 6 months contract/for some your contract may extendon 3 months basis every time on the same initial pay/ for some their contract ends no matter how good you are performing. 4. Internally, there is an environment that getting converted from FTC to FTE is like a big achievement/honour but its a bubble. Your salary will increase like miniscule and no other major benefits. 5. Bad Salary hike/ promotion. 6. Don't stuck here for more than 2 years if you don't find any upgrade. Not worth it. 7. So much of pressure on doing OT/ET (paid). Although, doing overtime is a voluntary thing but you are expected to do.(unofficially mandatory) 8. Now every time is a peak season so you don't have any sort of activities. You feel like robotic for working 10-11 hrs. Continuously everyday. 9. Nowadays they started pinging you not just on official group but personally as well on your weekoffs for doing ET. Intruding employees personal life. 10. Some of the mentors during ramp were worst. They made people cried with their rude and unprofessional language. No one wants such kind of traumatic experience in their first job. 11. They have set unrealistic targets in terms of work. Do your best, work hard, learn but don't bother much. 12. Work life at Amazon is really great. Their norms of accountability only in our shift timings but not before or after automatically differentiate personal and professional life.

Dislikes

The only drawback is growth. Levelling up being in the same position takes years together of being loyal and dedication. Even after that our promotion confirms only when there is a vacancy. Until then you have to serve as interim without change in designation or package.
