If someone wants to save their career never think of joining Amadeus Labs. Work culture is service based with Indian managers doing micro management. Pay is not upto market standard, and promotion is highly partical. Year end review is just a joke, and done for namesake.

Though depends on individuals, teams and managers, there is enough potential to learn and contribute. Tons of interesting work is happening on technology, cloud, ml.

Leadership level a lot of things can be improved. Though there are great leaders who made the company what it is, unless there is a freshness of leadership, we won’t be able to take the company to the next level. E.g. there is a need to diversify, pivot the business. Thinking of B2C, encashing data, making solutions more open and lean etc.

Indian Management is way worst here, they work very unethically. You can see proper politics and favouritism. Hike is also very less. And management will say something and do something else. There no transparency. They are working on old technology and design so there will be no beneficial learning curve.

Insecure and spineless leadership, trying to create old age home instead of a company

Dislikes

A pathetic excuse for a company led by insecure, outdated leadership. Their fear of competent subordinates drove them to kick us out using deceitful tactics and unethical practices—right before Diwali, India's biggest festival. They robbed us of our right to earn, deliberately leaving us jobless during a crucial season, proving just how low they’re willing to sink.

It appears that individuals like Mr. Sandeep Dwivedi supported by senior management including javier Laforgue and CEO Luis Maroto, are prioritising personal connections and potential business deals,such as those with Indigo for their own benefit .This focus on personal gain is allegedly causing severe harm to employees, leading to unfair terminations, toxic work culture and hire and fire mentality . If you want to learn some new words in corporate culture- 1. Act of insubordination 2. Intimidating 3. Overpaid 4. PIP 5. Immediately release 6. Expanse delayed without any reason and may be asking for reduced this under 5k max. It's good to be jobless then work in Amadeus Distribution India. Highly Not Recommended.

Work life balance is good as it is a European company. They do not expect anyone to work beyond 5.30pm IST. If you want a settled career and have no greed for promotions and big hikes then go for this peaceful company.
