Working in alshaya was not a good experience management in the store is playing with people theres no growth of career. Covid 19 they terminated me there's no help from company .

For fresher or people who have low salary or having 1 or two years of experience working in Alshaya will be better depending on which application team you will be put in. If you are in legacy application support job searching and skill development will be poor. Job security is good and regular salary is given.

Company policies and culture. HR team is useless here and doesn't do a single thing which will be helpful for employees. Hikes are poor and not at all consistent, sometimes 2 or three years you might not get any hike. And variable payment might not be given some times. Senior manager and manager does micromanagement a lot which is very bad for employee state of mind and to do quality work. There is biase while giving salary hike and promotions<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. -Well nothing much to like about but we usually get our salaries on time even in lockdown. -Work life balance was there when there was no wfh exists

-Constantly comparison b/w tier 1,2 college and a taunt that you are from this background so more expectations - No bonus (whole amount deducted without any prior notice in 2021 and most of us have to use it for tax declaration) due to covid even though revenue was pretty good post lockdown - No hike since 2018 and now there is another reason of covid - Too much office politics and self centered people <mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;"> - No growth only constant torture of you don't know this you don't know that but nobody will even acknowledge that how many systems are running with zero escalationa because of you</mark>. - People here feel happy by demeaning others or make them feel inferior -No wifi/ internet charges provided but they will deduct the transport allowance (of 1.5k) as all of us are working from home - No covid leaves. - No work life balance in wfh environment. - Never got any goodies when other organizations provided furnitures to make home a better place to work, vaccinatios, etc.. you will just get your salary that's it....Read More

Alshaya is a great company to work with, during Covid, our kids are having online classes & the management has given us a support in where we can choose to work from home to support our kids, which is great.

Dislikes

Salary wise & career growth is less when compared to other companies. Certain divisions don’t have Bonus which makes us feel low.
