Every review is important and we appreciate your time to send in one. <> It is good to know that you have a positive outlook about the organisation you are working with. We also understand that you have a concern about the promotion policies of the organisation. Being a small set-up, we have had a more or less flat structure for most of our processes. Some processes where there was more delineation between roles/responsibilities have a robust promotion plan in place. However, those where the work is more transactional, opportunities are fewer. Over and above this, many a times, it is the attrition at the higher positions that sets triggers for promotions. Hence, lower attrition, though desirable, directly affects the opportunities. Dear Reviewer, We acknowledge your review and it is good that you spoke about your disdain towards office politics. In order to position themselves or their teams and in an endeavor to get their tasks done on priority, employees, many a times indulge in informal, unofficial, ad-hoc activities that keep happening on the side. These get termed as Office Politics. Much of it is natural. Wherever people get together and work together on something as a unit, it is bound to occur. However, if you are experiencing negative politics that is putting you or your team in a deadlock or putting any deliverables at risk or compromising the quality of your work, we urge you to please report to us in person.
