1. Unreasonable pressure on leads and devs as print scope and requirement changes on daily basis due to rushed task execution demand of manager. 2. Micro management on peak here,. 3. As an outsider from other team, I have observed that the CS team culture is quite troubling. There is an excessive amount of politics among the both team member and manager, which seems to be creating an unproductive environment. 4. I have observed that on 11/10/2024 only 15-20% of members were present in CS team. There is a partiality going on regarding work from home and office timings for team members. Manager is not able to manage that how team members are coming late to office and going early. 5. I have seen that in many of teams there are 1-2 members are doing permanent WFH. I wish I had something to like about Airtel Africa, it was a mistake joining this organisation even after going through Glassdoor and Ambition box ratings. Platforms like Ambition box and Glassdoor should introduce zero or negative ratings for such companies.
1) Less capable people in higher positions. 2) Complete "Lala" culture, micromanagement at it's peak. 3) Politics and toxicity is at the next level, so if you are not good enough dealing with these two atrocities then don't join, trust me and thank me later. 4) HR doesn't have any say, there's absolutely no attention to employee welfare, they dance on the tunes of management. I remember my exit interview where the HR took pride in providing such trying circumstances to survive, said if you can survive here, you can survive anywhere, I wasn't shocked because I was accustomed to being shocked during my tenure. 5) You have to come to office on 5 days even if someone in your family died, for HR and managers it's an excuse irrespective of whether it is genuine reason. 6) Pay structure is designed such that your variable gets paid out once in a year, if you quit before that time, you don't get anything. 7) Job security is an issue, the sword is always hanging on top of your shoulder. I can go on and on, this place literally played with my psyche and emotional and physical well being, people at the higher positions lack professionalism and will say anything that comes to mouth, so if you're familiar with such culture and comfortable then only consider joining. Manager sets unrealistic expectations and set you intentionally up for failure because he is too weak to be insecure of even entry level employee and blames his uneffectiveness on you.

Arguably the worst organisation to work in considering there are no employee benefits other than a postpaid sim card that comes with a max limit. Coming to cons, I can mention end number of them but let's settle at a few: 1) Horrible culture that starts with micromanagement and ends with calls on Sunday morning with commands (not requests) to work on random issues and requirements. 2) No one cares about quality of development and wants features to be delivered within hours without proper testing and release plan. 3) Every team faces comparison from other teams despite the fact that actual problem lies in the senior officials who work like daily wage workers. 4) Flexibility - what is that? You get paid to come 5 days in office and spend 9 hours daily without expecting a single moment of gratitude. 5) Every small request is met with personal comments/insults by HR and managers who have teamed up to make every employee's life a living hell. 6) They can't fix a coffee machine and that's why we cannot expect a working infra either which has zero support for developers. 7) Pollution, rain, earthquake, fire or tornado should not stop you from arriving into office to earn the daily wage. List is huge but will mention main points only. 1. No flexibility of WFH or hybrid and you have to come 5 days to office. 2. If you are living in Noida or Noida office is near to you then also you have to travel 3 hours to come to office in gurgaon to satisfy HR/Management egos. 3. Floor environment is worst than any BPO, everyone keeps on shouting or discuss everything on your heads and also people attend their calls on laptop speakers in loud voice. You can not focus on your work and then you have to work in night at home. 4. Managers and HR are not supportive here they will play with you like a ball if you raise any concern with them. 5. Not sure why people are siting that salary on 25th ? Seriously all companies do that may be the. folks coming to this org are coming from places where salary was an issue. But generally there is no benefit here So Just go there if you have no place to go. What I had see is that good people quit this early while people good with politics continue for longer.
Tech stack wise they have everything in experimentation but no guts to take anything to production because of incompetent leaders in key position who just try to save the day! All legacy system are working in parallel to save the business which could had been improved over time but because of favoritism and assignment of incompetentleaders its all messy! Well the Offer letter from the company is structured to loot money. Whenever you leave you have to sacrifice 6 month to one year of variable component. Also the variable component is tied to review and in case you happen to get a insecure manager or not able to please your manager well then this whole amount will be 0 so basically you can always risk your 10% variable. So Negotiate offer well. I was a good performer but in last year the manager got changed and I had lost a massive part of CTC so just be cautious. Currently the level of politics is cutthroat. They compare you other employees There is no extra activities to refresh your mind. Every day you have to go with same flow. Not user friendly environment to work. You don't have oppertunity to express your queries or raise any voice. If you do so they will create some synario with HR that you have put resignation.
