There is immense scope for learning and support system in place. The work life balance depends on the team you are in. For certain teams are in maintaining existing product while some are developing new ones. Career growth again depends on how well you portray yourself; you could slog all year long only to find that your team lead took all the credit. Ideally career growth is a show off cards smartly. Colleagues are strictly professional and this is not a good thing when it comes down to simpleton tasks. Politics within the team surely has a good influence in the annual appraisal.Working in your zone is not appreciated and leads do barge into meetings and discussions without prior knowledge.

I have been working here since almost 5 years and I must warn those who think they will learn and earn better in Airbus India while leaving their existing stable jobs. Culture in India is worst as compared to in Europe. European counterparts are really good, however in India story is different. I have been in this Indian system but unfortunately I must admit that I have seen many airframe engineers specially "Repair domain" coming and leaving. The work culture is really poor in this team and believe me for surviving you just need to be " Yes boss" guy. It is just brand name and nothing else you get here. Senior engineers are making managers fool as most managers are nontechnical here and just based on business need managers support them. If you have intellect and wants to bring some good engineering point on table, people will feel jealous and will try to put you down if you are new and probabily manager will ask you after 6-7 months to resign forcibly. Seniors themselves are making managers fool. No ethics and values exist here. I have tried to bring this point to management many times but they are also helpless as the fault in system is in the top management itself. They have a complete blind eye to the problem. I have complaint against other team managers based on feedback received from repair engineers but to my surprise no action is taken against them ever. I asked management to review exit interviews of candidates who left job to find the reason why they resign or forced to leave job but no action regarding it as well. When other engineers are asked about the issue, they don't speak up as they are sole bread earners and nobody wants to loose job. Moreover, I was advised that in companies it happens and therefore can't help others in my company itself. I request people who are in their stable jobs not to join Airbus India specially Repair stress profile based on my experiences with people in this team. Hope this review helps others....Read More

DO NOT join Repair Stress Profile if you are already working in a stable job. Upsetting and common feedback I received from people forced to leave after few months is common here. They throw people projecting that the performance of individual is not up to the mark but in background they have immense politics played by seniors in India. People in Airbus, India prefer to suck up to French management rather than do the right thing. Their more focussed on keeping them happy than doing the right thing, especially HR department
