Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.

Less work and more politics by HR The salary deduction, bus (2000) and canteen fees(1300). Family owned business it's an MNC for name sake The top management especially, HR has Ego issues. Like central jail you have to submit your mobiles and can only access during breaks No job security. Management always thinking to whom to remove next. No scope to learn. 0 job security. Anytime they told to resign if you want leave. COO (Asia Pacific region) of this company check punching time daily😀. He decides the leaves. Taking a leave is a crime here. Toxic work culture. Below average salary with poor growth. Notice period is 3 months. In short They want robots not humans.
