Stuck from 2.6 years without hike and promotion

I have been working at my current organization for 2.6 years and started with a CTC of ₹8 lakh, which has remained unchanged since my joining. During this period, I have not received any promotions or salary hikes, which has made me question whether I should wait for growth within the company or explore external opportunities. I am hopeful of getting a promotion in June this year, but I am unsure if it’s worth waiting for. Here’s what I am considering: 1. Stay and wait for the promotion: There’s a possibility of career progression in June. Should I wait for it, considering the time and effort I have invested here? 2. Start looking for a new opportunity: I could begin exploring other organizations where I might receive a better salary, role, and career growth. However, leaving without securing my next promotion feels uncertain. I would appreciate suggestion: Whether I should wait until June or start looking for better option or if you have something else please tell me in comments

The organization is large in scale, so opportunities are aplenty

Dislikes

In some deals there is a lot of bias plus SDL's (level 6's) operate as if it's their fiefdom, having no regard for the ethics and value for the culture of the organization. The sad part being that no one does anything about it. One example is Sumraat Singh, the master manipulator and his biasness towards his blue eyed folks and special attention to Meghana Chaudary, which goes unnoticed, yet is very evident....Read More
