Good working and Familiar Environment, and team is very supportive. The mentor is very good and ready to teach anytime to their associates and juniors. the Juniors are treated well.

I’ve learnt a lot at AAK Legal. It feels good to work under great guidance. Also, my co-workers are very cooperative, and the firm is located very near to the Bombay High Court, which is a good thing.

The salaries of the employees were on time.

Dislikes

The worst working atmosphere one can ever be a part of. The Partner herself is a supremely rude person who had laid off close to 25 people in a year without any prior notice or severance pay. Due to the continuous change in Associates the output to the clients also remains extremely poor.

Toxic Work Environment

Hi Everyone. I recently joined a company to grow, but the work environment is toxic. The manager is rude, doesn’t guide, and gets angry when I ask questions. They rely on Excel for tasks instead of proper tools like Jira, and tasks lack clear details. Many seniors have quit, and the team is disorganized. Healthy working environment. The mentor is always ready to teach the juniors and praises for their sincerity and hard work. The salaries are paid on time unlike the other firms. Even the staff is friendly and helps one another. The juniors are given first hand experience. The exposure is good.

This firm is very good for the exposure. The staffs and colleagues are very friendly. The senior especially is very good and very helpful. She mentors her juniors very well and encourages them to take up the matters independently. Increments are given on time. The salary scale is much better as compared to few of the big firms.

Only good thing is retention fees are paid on time without any delay.

Dislikes

Very toxic work culture. There is an unnecessary urgency created in all matters. Quantity of work is preferred over quality of work. There is no mentorship or guidance. Rather than guiding juniors they are shouted for ingenuity. Feels like a prison where every minute is accounted. Healthy discussion on law topics are assumed as gossip.
