Fintench startup with fancy titles and competitive colleagues. Has very bad work environment. The senior managers in data science and engineering team do not understand any lines of python code. Had an opportunity to code apps and features from scratch. People are forced to work at unusual timings and on weekends. The learning curvewas high. But, managers depend on others juniors to validate code. Colleagues shame each other for not working late hours and on festivals. They have horrible work ethics. The work pay is on the lower side compared to other product based companies in analytics field. The HR system is not automated. The HR and hiring teams have poor communication skills to write job descriptions. The HR keeps asking for every document in teams chat and WhatsApp. The company prefers communication over personal apps rather than internal company teams chat.
