Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Its been over 8 years now and have no regrets so far. It is a captive set-up and we have scope to interact with our US colleagues. People here are helpful and nice (From the CEO to the office boys)! There is no politics being played around. Things are pretty straight forward. Decent compensation and good work-life balance. Happy work in a stress free environment.

Work from home facility provided until the situation stabilizes. Regularly checking with employees on their wellbeing. We were also given appraisals.

Its a US based client and I enjoyed working in 1FB as the work culture was very good and the managers the Sr managers were very understanding and superb. The work pressure is not high. sometimes even if we have to stretch or extend for an hour , they pay you decent incentive. The managers always keeps the atmosphere lively and happy so that employees are not bored.
