It all depends on the project. Some projects have excellent wor-life balance and take things slow.

Dislikes

Low salary hikes. Many projects are for short duration. Not all projects have good growth opportunities.

Likes

Employee oriented company. Competitive salary. Good self-learning opportunities. Mostly respectable work culture.

Dislikes

Engineering excellence is not up to the mark. Lacks clear drive to phase out legacy components. There is no common Philips culture. Each business unit runs on the Whim and Fancy of business leader. Unimpressive top leadership. The sold subsidiaries are as big as Philips now. But Philips is not growing.

... this was even before coronavirus when it was unheard of. Good company policies. Pay is competitive but to service industry and work life balance is also good. Only con might be pay and learning not as competitive to a product based, but again it's not product based so shouldn't be compared. Quite good in it's segment, particularly because of WFH rest will depend more or less on your client and manager.

The culture of the company is something which stands out for me. Open door policy, flexibility for the genuine cases, people-centric HR policies, no micro-management from the leaders, empowering someone to take the key decisions are some of the aspects which I like about this organization.

Dislikes

The compensation is not best-in-class as per the IT industry. The long-term onsite opportunities are not there too. So if someone is looking for some of these aspects, then it might not be the right place for him/her.
