This leads to unreasonable contractual terms and a disconnect between promised deliverables and actual results

Work culture is not at all good. 1 person is doing work of 3 person No reward/increment for the hard work A huge amount of CTC is declared as variable pay Sometime it seems that management is doing partiality

All depends on the project, your colleagues and manager. If these are good then you will enjoy working. Some good learning modules are there.

No increment last year, same is expected this year. Very high variable pay.
