Overloading employees with extra work without compensation or recognition is not sustainable. You should communicate your workload concerns professionally and set clear boundaries.

If the extra work isn’t officially required but is expected, consider documenting your efforts and discussing compensation or adjustments with your manager.

This does sound like a burnout strategy. Keep track of your additional tasks and push back politely but firmly. Your well-being matters!

Meetings outside shift + extra work = ‘We value you’ (until you collapse). Time to push back or ask for perks!

They're taking advantage of you! Working extra hours, then meetings outside work? That's not okay.

Try talking to your boss. ask if it's going to be like this forever. Maybe they'll help you

You need to say no! Tell them you can't work extra hours. you can't let them walk all over you
