Never go above and beyond. Jitna kaam diya hai, utna khatam karo, and don’t leave room to be ladened with others’ work.
Your company’s management may make big speeches about “being a family”, “teamwork” and “loyalty. You’re neither a family member nor is your company loyal to you. They will replace you in the blink of an eye. Same for your teammates; they will forget about you, “out of sight, out of mind”.
Change jobs as soon as a new opportunity presents itself; within reasonable limits, without your resume looking like you can’t handle the pressure.

Work slow and less. Complete things perfectly on time but never early. You can go a long way without socializing or creating connections.

[a product manager](username) My approach is bit different, I start fast and try to wrap it up early without informing and then chill out while giving some updates daily.
