Seeking for career advice

I did my master's in Pharmacology from a premium institute (NIPER). Where I learned and gained experience in laboratory techniques👨‍🔬🔬. Now I joined the IT company as a Scientific content curator. Which is new role for me. The company advised me to learn about programming languages such as python, PowerBI, R, etc. Should I invest my time in learning these 💻IT related skills or look for other opportunities which are relevant to the life science domain?

Learning Python and PowerBI could be super useful, even if it feels out of your comfort zone. Do you see yourself sticking with IT, or thinking of switching back to something life science-related?

See, learninggg PowerBI and Python might seem like a lot, but it could help in the future. What do you think – are you liking this new direction, or thinking of jumping back to life sciences?

Are you down to mix IT with life sciences, or wanna stick with just pharma?

Is IT growing on you, or do you miss the lab? Tech skills are super valuable in life sciences, so learning those might help long-term.
