Salary expectations from Gartner?
Update: I've been offered 7LPA - which is lower than their quoted budget - which they shared immediately after asking me my previous salary 😄
I'm going to negotiate for more - what do y'all think?
I've 10 YOE editing for academia and clients from a wide range of industries. I'm about to give an interview for Gartner to edit their technical copy - will require a fair amount of work. This is a full-time, regular role but remote.
My career has mostly been as a freelancer, so I'm wondering - what would be the industry standard for an editor at a marketing consultancy with 10 YOE?

Always ask about benefits
Sometimes a lower base salary is offset by great perks like stock options, bonuses

since it's a remote full time position in a marketing consultancy salaries may not be as high as what you could earn freelancing

Gartner is a premium brand, and they pay well since it's a technical editing role you can command a higher salary than general editing roles
