Office Humiliation
Nitika Kumari, an employee at HSBC Group, faced ethnic humiliation from a colleague who used the words, 'EK CHAMAAT MAARENGE, BIHAR PAHUCH JAOGI.'
In response to Nitika Kumari's post, someone commented, quoting the exact words used, "Bachpan mein maa baap ne EK CHAAMAT NAHI MARA. We have been talking about the lack of tolerance in Indians especially girls/women in India at the workplace. Pls grow up and be stronger."
Look at this comment where he is supporting this humiliation and quoting it as intolerance of women.
How can we address such attitude?

Nitika Kumari's experience is unacceptable. Ethnic humiliation and intolerance have no place in a professional setting. I strongly feel that the company should take appropriate disciplinary action against the colleague who made the offensive statement and the commenter who supported it. This could include warnings, suspension, or even termination.

Good that she reported it. Such things are shrugged as usual banter, though people don't understand how deeply they can affect someone's mental health.

This should be sent to HSBC’s global HR. Such pathetic people should be banned from getting a job in any company anywhere in the world.

it's not about being tough. it's about behaving like professional employee which is bare minimum to expect in any workplace environment.
No one i mean no one has right to talk in that kinda language to anyone.
