Hii,
I am planning to take leave for 8 days of the last week of the month, but my manager wants to cancel all my week-offs because of this, even though it isn't required due to workload and is not aligned with the policy. What should I do

I have got an offer of 34 LPA from TCS and Capgemini .
I have 11 years of experience , Azure Developer.

Can you please guide / suggest which company should I join .
I am confused since both are offering the  same CTC .

Hi All,
I'm so much confused in calculating my in hand salary by excluding the variable pay. Anyhow variable pay will have 30% tax directly on it. So by excluding If I calculate my monthly inhand using old and as well as new regime of 2025. 

I don't know which one to choose and which is best for me. Currently 80C is 1.5lakhs and 80D is 50k and Rent paid was around 75k help me to calculate in hand as per the above assumptions

Help me with in hand salary

Because:

1.We’d rather hang out with aging parents than office vending machines.

2. Our toddler is cuter than our cubicle neighbor (no offense to their questionable lunch smells).

3. We'd rather have dinner with our spouse than gossip with random flat mates about that one nosy landlord.

4. A weekend getaway with childhood friends > surviving rush hour for a team lunch.

5. Saving on fuel, rent, and overpriced sandwiches feels smarter than just surviving paycheck to paycheck.

6. Traffic jams aren’t fun, and meetings don’t require our physical presence just decent Wi-Fi.

But alas, corporate reality insists on strict office check-ins while happily making us join 11 PM global calls from home. So, here’s the million-dollar question: If we deliver stellar work remotely, why does our location matter?

It's not about productivity, is it? It's about clinging to old processes in the name of “culture.” Or maybe someone just really likes office coffee.

Jan 2021- Mar 2024, small size company, 3.2 yoe as Data analyst. EXCEL Nly.

Analysis Paralysis

Right after my BCom, I took a service advisor role at Honda for ₹7K due to urgency. Later, I moved to a gas station for ₹10K, handling all kinds of work beyond office tasks.

My breakthrough came when I joined as an order management specialist in Bangalore for ₹22K. To advance, I self-learned Excel, Power BI, coding, and automation, earning a specialist role. I also completed my MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain online. After four years, my salary reached ₹35K. 
With management’s support, I transitioned to a procurement specialist role at ₹45K + ₹11K (night shift), later growing to ₹58K + ₹11K by optimizing processes.

Now, I’m preparing for an HR round and planning to ask for a 55% hike. Am I on the right track? How can I accelerate my career growth?
