Hi Everyone, 
I am currently working in Times of India Group as an Assistant Manager in Mumbai. Its only been 9 months and also its my first job. But the work culture and growth opportunities, both are bad. They dont value freshers at all. Its like rather than working as a marketing guy, i am working in operations and there is nothing to learn. Please help me with any advice or referrals (For Pune location) if possible because it is really frustrating everyday to go to office and do nothing/ learn nothing. Your leads will be valuable.

I gave an interview in a company.  Technical round went very well and i some how managed to sneak into the final score which was 4.3/5. Hence i reached the HR round where i declared my expected salary to be 20 lacs. I was offered 17.5 Lacs in the end.(My current CTC is 12.7 Lacs). I denied the offer at the moment in clear words as my present job is in my hometown and I expect 20 LPA to move out of my home town. This interview was held in November . Yesterday in February i received a mail from the company telling me to go for pre employment medical checkup. An HR executive called and explained me medical procedure. I asked her about the final offer and she told me she will get back to me. I called her again after two days and she still told me that she will ask her seniors and get back to me. Now after 5 days of mail I am confused if I should call again or go for medical or still wait.

few of my friends tagged me having a crazy time and it got posted on Instagram and guess what I completely forgot that my manager is in my list and to add on to it he also liked my story with a heart😑

What do I do ? I am embarrassed 🥲 I will meet him in the office tomorrow. Please suggest Meri Fatri hai yaar appraisals ka time hai. 😭

*Update*  I had a connect with my Boss, I started the conversation and said, Ki kal tabiyat khrab thi but shaam tak concert ki tickets mil gyi Itna maza aaya "Sir", He said Chalo badiya hai, Now I dont know if it will stay in his mind till Appraisal feedback meeting ya "sab changa si" hi rahega :D

Hey, I just resigned from a role because it made me.do.work I was not hired for.Rather there was nothing technical about it and I am a guy from technical background. I'm getting calls from other companies but how to professionally answer the question "Why did you resign without any offer" or "why are you serving notice period without any offer in hand"

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM.  Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours.  Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10.

Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional.  She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living.

It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview."

I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out.

I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
