Is 80k per month enough?
I'm pretty content with my job. I bring home around 80K a month, but I can't shake this feeling of "Is that it?" I'm always spending, and the more I earn, the more I spend. I'm not planning to buy a house, but I'm curious – What's a decent salary to aim for in Bangalore? Any advice would be great!

Living a decent life is cheap.
The problem starts when we compare with what others have and don’t!!

One of the rare posts I have come across where a healthy work environment puts an individual in the top 1% rather than their salary. Quite refreshing.

Are you happy?
Are you and your family secure in case of financial or health emergency?
Are your needs(not wants) being fulfilled?
If yes, yes you're doing great. REMEMBER, comparison is the thief of joy.

All that matters is YOU and it's always between YOU(your heart) vs YOU(your mind). If you're happy, your family is happy then it's good. Social media is a trap where people are posting ONLY good stuffs but they're messed up to impress PEOPLE. Eg, One of my friend recently bought car worth 19lacs with 15 lacs of loan where he already had but older car and his salary is 40K and he had already been in credit card trap. Well he posted photos and all but from life and peace of mind perspective he's messed up.

In Bangalore you will see people managing their household with 30k but people with 3L struggling to survive.
Nothing will satisfy you if you keep finding ways to spend it.

Depends what your age is and what responsibilities you have. Also try to invest your money.

There’s no ‘right’ salary. If you're happy with your lifestyle and feel fairly rewarded, you’re in a good place.

Yes, absolutely. 80k are highly privileged, actually.
