I don't know why but some students who has 4 5 yoe and get 30 40 lpa and some with 7 8 get 14 15 i don't know why that happened.

What I have seen is how many switches you have made during your first 3-4 years,who have switched more got a hefty hike even after being a Manual Tester . And yes you need to give a rock solid interview which makes the negotiation more in your favour

It totally depends on skillset you are having, negotiation skills do play a important role, but at the end of the day, its about skills. People can make themselves happy by saying it, but they really need to skill up
