How much salary hike should I expect
Hi folks,
I am planning to switch after good 3.9 years from my current organization. I work as a sdet/ qa automation engineer. My current ctc is 10(9 fixed+1 retention). Total experience 3.9 years as this is my first company.
Tech stack: Java, appium, selenium

Looking at your experience and skillset in Java, Appium, and Selenium, a 30-40% hike is reasonable for a switch. If you’re applying to good companies, you should aim for 12-14 LPA.

I received an offer from a product-based company with a package of 13.7 LPA (11.5 LPA fixed and the rest performance-based). They are offering a hybrid work model, which is a big plus for me as I live in the same city.

A Senior Software Engineer
with a bare minimum of 30 % hike in change, you will reach 13lpa and I can see you already have an offer which is slightly above that, Try negotiating on the variable component of your salary and I think you should be golden, all the best
