Honestly, this could be a brilliant move for Freshworks. AI and customer experience are the future, and they're positioning themselves right where the market is headed. Streamlining the workforce might be tough, but it’s necessary to scale. They’re keeping things lean and focused, which is important for long-term growth. These changes will likely lead to stronger products, better customer satisfaction, and a more sustainable business model in the future.

A Team Lead
As a BL, I understand the need to focus on high-growth areas like AI and customer experience. This restructuring makes sense if it helps the company focus on its strategic priorities and ensure profitability. These layoffs might be unfortunate, but in business, we often have to make these calls to stay competitive. They’re offering severance and transition support, which shows they’re being responsible. It's not ideal, but it's a business decision.
