Hi everyone, I’ve been working in Accounts Receivable (AR) for 3 years and am currently pursuing CMA US. I want to transition into core finance roles like financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance. Would love to hear from those who’ve made a similar switch—what roles should I target, what salary can I expect, and which companies are good for this move? Salary Discussions, Hike & Promotions

Cctc - 27.4 (21.6 fixed + 5.8 variable)
Yoe - 10.7 years
Tech stack: .Net full stack + Azure PaaS

Cognizant offered around 42% hike on fixed component and gave 32LPA (30.5 fixed + 1.5 variable)

Got selected for HCL Tech (Henkel client) and LTIMindtree and expecting offers/HR discussion soon. Question is how much "Fixed component" should I ask them?

Hi everyone,

I am currently working as a frontend developer in a startup. This is my second company. Ive been working here for 10 months now

I have total of 2.3 yeo and im getting 8 LPA (7.5 fixed + 50k variable).

I see lot of people having lesser yeo earning more than me. Is my salary below market standards? My appraisal cycle is in june month and I dont think my manager will promote me to senior role. Hence i wanted to switch to another company. Is it fine if i switch within 1 year in a company

Day to Day Office

I’m in a bit of a tricky situation and could use some advice. My boss is supportive, kind, and overall a great person to work for. Recently, he asked if I could occasionally drop his wife off on my way home since their house is along my route. He also mentioned that I could leave a bit earlier to accommodate this, which is a nice bonus.

While I don’t mind helping out, I’m torn about the personal aspect of it. On one hand, it’s a small favor, and he’s been really supportive of me, but I’m unsure if this might blur any professional boundaries.

What’s your take? Should I keep helping with the rides, or is this something I should reconsider to maintain a clear work-life balance?

Should I Drop My Boss’s Wife on My Way Home?

Day by day i am getting more frustrated. I was hired as content Writer but now i am working on behalf of 3 people one content Writer + manager + e-commerce executive because executive above me left his job. 

So basically now i handle designers + writers their work sheets, tasks management, client emails, client changes, client calls and everything of content.  Though when asked for raise, ceo says its your job only you are not doing anything extra. 

I want to quit this so bad but financially i cant. And i am not even getting remote opportunities in content writing so i think i am doomed. This is dead end now.
