Career Advice

I'm a working professional, completed my Masters in Economics from Distance and Bachelors from Regular Delhi University College. I have always been fascinated with learning and teaching but now it's been a long time since I left the teaching profession and started working in the industry. I work as a Project Coordinator and look after the policy and compliance for higher education institutions and University for my company. I feel that whatever degree I possess is not solving my purpose of working. While I want to dive into research work and gain experience in it, I am not getting anything like that in my current job or with my degrees. Kindly guide me what skills i need to add and how can I level up myself in the education sector itself.

Can you use data analysis or research methods in your current job? Even if it's just for a small project, it's something.

Nationwide lock down πŸ‘‡
Hello, I am your office desk and I want to wish you a very happy work-from-home anniversary! Exactly 5 years ago, on March 24, 2020, you got an email from HR with the subject: 'Working from home... for a while' said that mail. Little did we know, 'for a while' would become the new normal!

Need Advice: For Job Switch
I have 3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst or Data Analyst with a CTC of 8.5 LPA (8.1 LPA fixed, rest variable). I am currently working at an MNC and looking to switch companies. What percentage of a salary hike should I ask for? How can I increase my chances of getting a good salary? I plan to stay in my next company for 2-3 years or more. My skills: Tableau, Looker, SQL, Python, Excel, GCP (BigQuery), Informatica, Power BI.
