My experience at The Souled Store was nothing short of a nightmare, and I regret every moment I spent working there. The work culture is not just toxic—it is downright exploitative. The company demands that employees be available 24/7, with no regard for personal boundaries, work-life balance, or basic human decency. The expectationthat I would work around the clock, even on off days or while on sick leave, is nothing short of abusive. One particular instance stands out that exemplifies the appalling nature of this company. During a family function, I missed a call from my reporting manager, Hassan. Upon calling back after 30 minutes, I was publicly berated and insulted. Hassan’s response was that no matter what personal emergency I was dealing with, I had to be at his beck and call at all times. The audacity of this attitude is staggering, and it speaks volumes about the company’s total disregard for its employees’ well-being. The lack of support from senior management made matters worse. There was no help or intervention to address these blatant issues. Instead, the company perpetuated a culture of fear, disrespect, and constant micromanagement. The work environment was suffocating, and it was clear that the company cared little about its employees as people. This toxic atmosphere led to frequent resignations, and it became evident that no one could tolerate the absurdly high demands and complete lack of respect for personal time. Having worked at several organizations throughout my career, I can say without hesitation that The Souled Store is by far the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever encountered. When you join the organisation the management talks so big but after joining you realise that the senior management is like obsolete technology totally outdated. Being the manager of store in a city like Delhi. Can say the company really needs to pull some toxic people out of the system. Especially there is this area manager in south by the name of Hassan really so dominating and totally useless.
