I have been fortunate to have got an opportunity to work with TartanHQ leadership team, specifically the CEO, who has allowed me to learn and grow so much in this company. We have had our share of setbacks with initial Product-Market fits and identifying the right talent for the company. We made mistakes, but we learnt so much, and have finally arrived in the market with some really solid products. The company has seen some steep increase in the revenue in the last few months, and with more clients coming in, we may have a real chance at a break-even in this financial year. Hope we keep growing at this pace. The culture is good, due to the constant efforts put in by the People and Culture team. There are misfits in the team, who in spite of all the opportunities and growth, write poor reviews on Ambitionbox and Glassdoor out of immaturity. You give them anything, and they will still gossip and bad-mouth, so no need to worry about them....Read More

We need to get faster at pivoting, which as a startup is really required. Too much analysis can lead to paralysis sometimes.

Tartan is product company which is still in the experimental mode in terms of finding its Product Market fit. However the team assembled here is terrific, which allows for quicker turnarounds, faster deliveries, and quality outputs. The quality of talent is good, and the overall culture developed over the last 1 year is very people friendly. Cross functional learning opportunities are tremendous. Dislikes

There could have been better appraisal cycles as well as promotion opportunities, which are currently lacking. A bit of more transparency from the Management would help in understanding the reasons behind the decision taken.
