This company can handle a torrent of customer service calls. Stream Global Services is a leading provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) services, such as customer care and technical support. The company maintains about 50 call centers in more than 20 countries, from which it works with its customers' customers over the telephone, via e-mail, and through online chat sessions in 35 different languages. In addition to customer service, Stream offers sales support and order processing. In late 2009, Stream made a significant move to expand when it acquired rival BPO services provider eTelecare Global Solutions in a stock-for-stock deal. The combined entity retained the Stream Global Services name.
