- The worst thing bout this company is its offer letter. Always read the offer letter carefully before signing. Take it home, show it to your brother, sister, or well-experienced person, and then decide. - The top-level management gossips about employees and tries to create misunderstandings between them. - Unrealistic deadlines arecommon. They expect a full website or mobile responsive design to be completed within a week, or sometimes even a mobile application within the same time. - The company claims to be focused on UX/UI, but in reality, there is no UX process followed. The entire focus is on direct design outputs. There is no user research, user flows, or task flows -- just designs delivered directly. When you present your work, non-designers with no design background simply judge it by saying, "It doesn't feel right" without any constructive feedback, asking for multiple versions. - As a UI/UX designer, you are just a designer here. The functionalities and designs you create can be changed anytime by developers without your involvement. - Some people in the company directly give orders and expect you to stay after office hours to complete the work. - Salary payments are not on time, there are frequent delays and no proper structured salary slip. - There is no senior designer or product designer in the company to guide or collaborate with, which limits learning and growth for an individual designer. - The company does not provide provident fund (PF) despite having more than 20 employees. My experience at OneRoof Technologies LLP was quite disappointing. The work culture was not supportive, and collaboration with teammates was challenging. There was a noticeable lack of guidance, especially for interns, making it difficult to grow and learn. Seniors often had unrealistic expectations from interns who were just starting their careers, without providing the necessary mentorship or regular feedback. This left interns feeling undervalued and demotivated. Additionally, the absence of constructive criticism or acknowledgment of efforts made it harder to understand how to improve. Work-life balance was practically non-existent, with long hours and constant pressure. The lack of proper management and communication added to the stress, making it hard to maintain any personal time. On top of that, there was no sense of job security, which created further anxiety. Overall, the experience was disheartening and not what I expected from a company aiming to foster growth and learning for fresh talent.
