Marine Solutions Distribution & Services PLC grew out of a passion for the seas shared by members of the Dutta family. Major General S Dutta VSM, Chairman, has been associated with yachting for more than 50 years and is regarded as a guiding light for yachtsmen in India. Today most of the classes of sailing dinghies raced in India have been introduced and fostered by him. As a member of the Council of the Yachting Association of India and Chairman of Marine Solutions, he is actively committing his considerable experience towards promoting yachting and a healthy love of adventure at sea amongst Indians. Anju Dutta, Managing Director, has a wealth of experience in sales and marketing and thus spearheads this division at Marine Solutions. Her successful efforts are evident in the company’s solid positive growth curve which has made it the numero uno yacht retail company in India. She aims to push the yacht market in India and take the industry to the next level. Gautama Dutta, Executive Director, is one of India’s prominent yachtsmen. A national champion, Asian medallist, current world record holder for sailing at the highest altitude, trans-ocean navigator, he has lead an active life at sea. This passion and rich yachting experience brings colour to the businesses of Marine Solutions while his quick thinking and clear cut decision making has helped Marine Solutions evolve and grow on all fronts in a new market like India.
