ETC is a global leader in the manufacture of lighting and rigging technology for entertainment and architectural applications. Our products are found in venues worldwide, such as theaters, restaurants, schools, performing arts centers, TV studios, houses of worship, casinos, cruise ships, museums, theme parks and opera houses.
Founded in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1975, ETC started as a college project, and has since grown into a business that employs over 1,000 people worldwide!
CEO, Fred Foster, has always praised the importance and value of the ETC family. In 2015 he announced the implementation of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan ESOP, making ETC 33% employee owned.
ETC’s main US locations are found in Middleton & Mazomanie, Wisconsin. Other US offices are in New York, Hollywood, Orlando, and Victor. International offices are located in Hong Kong, London, Rome, Ede (The Netherlands), and Holzkirchen (Germany).
