Flipkart-Owned Cleartrip Spent INR 10 To Earn Every Rupee In FY24
- Cleartrip, owned by Flipkart, reported a net loss of INR 810.3 Cr in FY24, despite an increase in operating revenue.
- Operating revenue almost doubled to INR 97.2 Cr, but would have been INR 622.2 Cr without discounts.
- Cleartrip earned INR 368.7 Cr from service charges and INR 240.5 Cr from commissions and incentives.
- Expenses increased by 26.7% to INR 988.2 Cr, with the company spending over INR 10 to earn every rupee in operations.

Cleartrip nearly doubles revenue in FY24 as losses widen
- Cleartrip, the travel aggregator platform, nearly doubled its operating revenue to Rs 97 crore in FY24.
- The revenue from operations increased by 96% from the previous year.
- However, Cleartrip recorded a loss of Rs 809 crore, which was 18% wider than the previous year.
- Cleartrip was acquired by Flipkart in April 2021 and operates as a separate brand.
