Yet somewhere along the line, this rich heritage of chai addas was lost and "Chaa" took a backseat - taken over by the multinational coffee chains, suddenly chai was no longer the beverage that we bonded over.
Chaayos was born in November 2012 out of this premise - a contemporary interpretation of the chai adda, serving freshly made chai. Our focus is on serving your "Meri Wali Chai", a chai made exactly to our customers' liking the minute they place their order - be it an adrak tulsi kadak chai or a paani kam elaichi cinnamon chai. Our option of 12 add-ons gives our customers a total of over 12,000 ways to make their chai at Chaayos.
Mission: Our Mission is to help ease these seemingly endless pressures of Modern existence using traditional recipe for relaxation i.e Chai and Snacks that go along with it.
Vision: Sunshine Tea House Pvt Ltd known as "Chaayos" was formed with a vision of creating a unique Tea experience for consumers of India.

Chaayos’ Loss Halves To INR 54 Cr In FY24
- Delhi NCR-based tea-cafe chain Chaayos reduced its net loss by 50.59% to INR 54 Cr in FY24 from INR 109.3 Cr in FY23, as it cut its expenses and turned EBITDA profitable.
- Chaayos' operating revenue rose 4.89% to INR 248.6 Cr in FY24 from INR 237 Cr in FY23.
- Chaayos posted a positive EBITDA of INR 28.3 Cr in FY24 as against an EBITDA loss of INR 22.1 Cr in FY23.
- Chaayos reduced its total expenditure by 3.69% to INR 352.2 Cr in FY24 from INR 365.7 Cr in the previous fiscal year.

Singapore Envoy says he had 'tasteless chai for Rs 169 with tax' at Chaayos; founder responds
- Simon Wong, the Singapore High Commissioner to India, criticized a Gurugram café for serving him tasteless chai for Rs 169 with tax.
- Nitin Saluja, the founder of Chaayos, responded to Wong and invited him for a cup of chai to address the issue.
- Wong explained that he ended up at the café after searching for the best chai nearby and clarified that he meant no shade.
