Ankit Metal & Power Limited (AMPL) earlier initialised as Ankit Steel Works Private Limited in the year 2002 and was later on changed to Ankit Metal & Power Private Limited as on 09th July, 2004. However, on 31st August, 2004 the status of the company changed to a Public Limited Company now known as Ankit Metal & Power Limited.
A diversification of the group into Steel-making, Ankit Metal & Power Limited was floated in 2005 as an Integrated Steel Plant to produce 100,000 mtpa of Rolled products comprising of Sponge Iron, Steel Melting Shop, Billets and Rolling Mill along with 12.5 MW Captive Power Plant. The Company’s ANKIT-TMT BARS are well accepted in the state.
