Job Description :

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of Detection Developers focused on building high-quality, innovative security solutions. You will collaborate with architects, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to execute product roadmaps, optimize detection mechanisms, and drive technical excellence. This role requires expertise in cybersecurity, cloud-based detection systems, and leadership in agile development environments.

Key Responsibility Areas :

- Lead and manage teams to deliver high-quality detection software solutions.

- Drive the execution of the product roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Provide technical direction, remove obstacles, and ensure efficient development processes.

- Implement secure coding practices and ensure adherence to ISMS regulations.

- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

- Mentor team members, conduct one-on-one sessions, and support career development.

- Manage budgets, training programs, and employee compensation.

- Drive continuous process improvements and innovation in detection methodologies.

- Lead recruitment efforts, hiring strategy, and team expansion.

- Collaborate with architects to define and execute the companys technical roadmap.

Technical Skills Required :

- 3+ years of experience leading detection development teams.

- Expertise in Python development for security-focused projects.

- Experience with SaaS, IaaS, and identity-specific telemetry (AWS CloudTrail, Azure Activity Logs, IDPs, API logs, email security).

- Cloud and identity forensic investigation experience.

- Strong knowledge of SIEM detections, CDR detections/signatures, and Sigma rules.

- Development of anomaly-based and behavior-based detections.

- Optimization and tuning of detection mechanisms.

- Hands-on experience with secure coding practices and security frameworks.

- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GIAC Cloud Threat Detection (GCTD), GIAC Public Cloud Security (GPCS), GIAC Cloud Forensics Responder (GCFR), AWS Security Specialty, or Microsoft Azure Security Certifications.

- Experience leading Agile development teams with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
