Job Title : ServiceNow ITSM Module Consultant
Job Type : Remote
Years of Experience :
- Overall 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow.
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow ITSM module.
Technical Expertise :
- Maintain a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its ITSM module features.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow releases and best practices.
- Develop and maintain complex scripts (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS) to automate processes and enhance user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve script-related issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective ITSM processes, such as incident management, problem management, change management, and service request management.
- Configure ServiceNow to align with established ITSM processes.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other systems (e.g, Jira, Active Directory) to ensure seamless data flow and automation.
- Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Convert acceptance criteria into feature files and scenarios for automated testing.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively address customer needs and concerns.
- Deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, including developers, testers, and business analysts
- Mentor and guide team members to enhance their ServiceNow skills.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Must have :
- Strong experience in with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS etc.
- Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology and being able to translate acceptance criteria into feature files and scenarios
- Active listening skills, respecting others' point of view and takes ownership of contributing the required input while demonstrating strong communication skills (written, interpersonal, and presentational)
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
- Proven team player and team builder
- Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work efforts
- Experience with Jira
- Good communication language
