Job Description :

A dynamic technology leader who operates with high agency and achieves Business goals for the team. This position is required to operate hands-on coding and design systems and will be responsible for building multiple distributed services with five-nines uptime. The leader should also provide technical mentorship to the development team and help them grow to the next level.

Requirements :

- 8+ years of experience in building microservices, REST APIs, web/application development with any object-oriented language.

- Deep knowledge of multiple object-oriented programming and other scripting languages : Java, Python, RoR, Golang, etc.

- Strong SQL skills and experience and experience with relational and non-relational databases and caching engines, e. g. (Postgres/Mongo/Trino/ElasticSearch/Redis/Memcache).

- Experience with developing B2C applications over public cloud infrastructure - AWS and/or GCP.

- Experience in architecting and optimising large-scale distributed systems by working with open-source tools like Kafka, RMQ, Flink, etc.

- Experience in building a roadmap for the team by working cross-functionally with the Product team, and prior experience in scaling products 0-> 1 and 1-> 100

- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment by identifying areas of impact and independently pursuing them to solve real customer pain points.

Good to have skills :

- Familiarity with infrastructure networking concepts like ALB, API-Gateway, ELB, etc.

- Understanding of Scrum and JIRA project management.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, APM and monitoring tools like Jenkins, ELK, OpenSearch, etc.

- Knowledge of using GenAI tools to improve engineering productivity in the team.
