Job Overview:

The General Manager Fire & Safety Systems will be responsible for managing the design, execution, maintenance, and business development of fire safety and security projects. The role requires expertise in fire alarm systems, security solutions, and ELV systems. The GM will lead teams, ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management & Execution:

• Oversee end-to-end execution of fire and safety projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to execute fire safety and ELV projects.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system installations.

2. Technical Expertise & System Management:

• Ensure proper design, installation, and maintenance of:
• Fire Alarm Systems (Addressable & Conventional)
• Public Addressing (PA) Systems
• Building Management System (BMS)
• Access Control & CCTV Systems
• Sprinkler & Pre-action Systems
• Water Leak Detection (WLD) System
• Rodent Repellent Systems
• Novec 1230 Fire Suppression Systems
• Monitor testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire and security systems.
• Ensure adherence to NFPA, and local fire safety codes.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to teams.

3. Business Development & Client Relations:

• Identify new business opportunities, tenders, and projects in fire and security systems.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and government authorities.
• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients and vendors.

4. Team Leadership & Training:

• Lead a team of Project Manager, Project engineers, Technicians, and supervisors
• Conduct training programs on fire safety, system maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure safety protocols and proper work procedures are followed on-site.

5. Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure all fire and security systems meet government regulations, safety codes, and industry standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and compliance checklists.
• Conduct audits and inspections for fire and safety installations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background:

• Bachelors degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Fire & Safety Engineering, or related field.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, PA systems, CCTV, access control, BMS, and suppression systems.
• Hands-on experience with brands like Honeywell, Bosch, Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, etc.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, project management tools, and fire safety software.
• Understanding of fire codes, NFPA standards, and local fire department regulations.

• Proven experience in team leadership, budgeting, and project planning.
• Strong client management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
