Key Responsibilities

  • Mapping educational institutions and managing the entire lifecycle of an account while interacting with multiple contact points, including Directors, Principals, Teachers and HODs.
  • Generating open market leads through direct outreach & networking for our flagship ERP product for educational institutions, especially schools, in your designated geographical area.
  • Qualifying the lead base with in-person visits & calls, giving them a demonstration of our product & services, preparing effective & articulate proposals after understanding their requirements and sealing the deal by generating revenues on a monthly basis the prescribed targets.
  • Maintaining and managing business development reports on daily, weekly & monthly basis.
  • Building deep, long-term association with the educational institutions - both existing & prospects, in your designated geographical area.
  • Tracking competition and having a close watch on market movements, emerging technologies and companies offering new-age solutions, and discovering new opportunities for growth by formulating marketing strategies to increase sales and reduce costs.
  • Developing strategic partnerships with other key industry players, agencies and vendors.
  • Enhancing companys market presence by representing at various events & conferences, trade shows & exhibitions to promote various products and services.
  • Managing sales team to maximize sales revenue and meet the set goals, and coordinating with cross functional teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Addressing potential problems & suggesting prompt solutions, reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements.

Desired Attributes

  • Passionate, outcome-oriented sales person, preferably an MBA, with B2B Sales & Customer Relationship experience in EdTech / ITeS / SaaS / related verticals.
  • Experience in sales forecasting & ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to convey issues clearly and concisely.
  • Knowledge of the territory & willing to travel within the region.
  • Knowledge of regional languages is a must.
  • Inspiring team player, with ability to build relationships.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
