Logistics Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods and materials between different locations.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services to customers or between internal departments.
• Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and suppliers to schedule and track shipments.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the
  logistics operations.
• Monitor trends and changes in the logistics industry to recommend improvements in supply chain management.
• Assist in the analysis of logistics data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement.
• Generate regular reports on the status of logistics activities, inventory levels, and transportation costs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Lorry booking office is Preferred ,
• Need market awareness of Logistics & transportation ,
• To relocate Erode office or Chennai office and to travel across Pan India level ,
• Languages preferred - Tamil , English & Hindi.
