Role & responsibilities


Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on a pivotal role in leading digital marketing efforts for our ecommerce clients. This position involves strategic client management, team leadership, and driving marketing performance across various channels, including SEO, paid ads, email marketing, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ecommerce clients (B2B and B2C).
  • Conduct weekly client meetings to present updates on SEO and performance marketing activities, emphasizing outcomes and improvements.
  • Understand client requirements, provide actionable marketing suggestions, and ensure clear communication of tasks to the team.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients and pitch additional offerings to increase engagement.

Team and Strategy Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of digital marketers, ensuring balanced workloads and high-quality outputs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor client-specific KPIs and goals, guiding the team to achieve them.
  • Support the team in crafting strategies and resolving queries related to marketing activities.
  • Set up streamlined processes within various marketing channels and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Collaborate with the presales and sales teams, participating in client pitches as a subject matter expert (SME) in digital marketing.
  • Establish and oversee documentation practices, including account details, analytics, activities, and client reviews.
  • Conduct regular reviews and feedback sessions to assess client account statuses and potential risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 14 years in digital marketing, with significant exposure to SEO, performance marketing, and client management(US)
  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of ecommerce marketing for both B2B and B2C clients.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate teams while maintaining a focus on quality and outcomes.
  • Strategic Thinking: Expertise in developing marketing strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and achieving measurable results.
  • Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with task management and people management systems, marketing analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Process-Oriented: Strong organizational skills, including setting up processes, creating SOPs, and maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Candidates from Marketing/Digital marketing Agency have a competitive edge.
  • Must be open to work form Chennai Office.
