Job Description
- Design and develop enterprise Android applications, including featuresthat require advanced knowledge of frameworks, APIs, and systemintegrations
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, bestpractices, and design principles.
- Investigate and debug issues across multiple layers of the applicationstack, from UI to backend integration.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, providingtechnical insights and recommendations.
- Assist in breaking down user stories and features into actionable tasksand deliverables.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and sprint commitments,providing technical input and feasibility assessments.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage by writing unit test cases.
- Oversee the deployment process of Android applications to variousdistribution channels such as the App Store or enterprise distributionplatforms.
- Document codebase structure, design patterns, and implementationdetails to facilitate understanding and collaboration among teammembers.
- Manage code repositories, branches, and pull requests, resolvingconflicts and ensuring code integrity.
- Production support
Required Skill Set:
Strong Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, UI/GUI understanding and codingexperience
Solid experience with core Android APIs and supported libs
- Architectural Patterns (MVVM, MVP, MVC), SOLID principles, DataStructures, Algorithms
- Expertise in Android SDK, Room, SQLite, Coroutines, DependencyInjection, Jetpack components
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-endservices.
- Good knowledge on multi-threading, UI Threading, App Life Cycle,Android Fundamental, OOPs concepts
- Good at Android Studio, Gradle build system.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git and Bitbucket)
- Expertise in managing the end-to-end release process, includingversion control, deployment, and monitoring of Android applications.
