Job Description

The Sales Head will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our mission and business objectives. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in B2C sales, preferably within the content, technology, or parenting sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique needs of parents and a passion for helping them access the resources they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development Design and implement a robust sales strategy to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Market Analysis Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and customer needs within the parenting domain.
  • Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Performance Tracking Set sales targets, monitor performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Collaboration Work closely with marketing, product, and content teams to ensure alignment and optimise the customer journey.
  • Budget Management Oversee the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximise ROI.
  • Reporting Provide regular reports to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and growth opportunities.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor\s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
    • 8+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in B2C environments.
    • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets.
    • Experience in the parenting, content, or technology sectors is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of digital sales channels, including e-commerce, online subscriptions, and content monetization.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data, make informed decisions, and drive execution.
    • Passion for parenting and a deep empathy for the challenges and needs of parents.
