Job Description


Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Job Overview:
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team in administrative and operational tasks to ensure efficient and effective sales processes. The role involves coordinating between sales, marketing, and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and timely execution of tasks. The Sales Coordinator helps drive sales activities and plays a key role in customer service and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support:
    • Assist sales representatives with lead generation, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.
    • Prepare sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
    • Coordinate with internal teams for the preparation of quotes, contracts, and orders.
    • Monitor and track sales performance metrics and reports.
  2. Order Processing:
    • Process sales orders, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
    • Coordinate with the production or inventory team to ensure timely delivery.
    • Address any issues or discrepancies with orders or shipments.
  3. Customer Communication:
    • Serve as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and concerns.
    • Provide customers with updates on order status and delivery timelines.
    • Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance sales opportunities.
  4. Sales Reporting:
    • Prepare and update sales reports and forecasts.
    • Track and monitor sales activities, providing feedback to the sales manager.
    • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
  5. Collaboration with Marketing and Sales Teams:
    • Work closely with the marketing department to coordinate campaigns, events, and promotions.
    • Ensure that all sales-related activities align with marketing strategies and business goals.
  6. Administrative Support:
    • Maintain and update sales databases and CRM systems.
    • Schedule meetings, appointments, and sales calls for the sales team.
    • Manage sales documentation, contracts, and records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in sales coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
