Zepto - Senior Director - Indirect Tax (14-20 yrs)

Qualification : CA (14-20 Years GST Works Experience) - Preferably with Indirect tax articleship experience with a top consulting firm or startup.

- Your Role Working with the business team & consultant on implementation of strategies to improve controls and reduce risk.

- Actively working as part of teams supporting cross functional project launches end-to-end, from scoping through to testing and launch.

- Actively participating in rolling out an enhanced GST Control Framework.

- Working with internal business partners to define, implement, review and improve quality control, including identification of internal risks and solutions to mitigate them.

- Providing audit support and data analysis review processes.

- Providing support and advice to Tax colleagues as well as the Business and Accounting teams.

- Oversee the end-to-end litigation processes in relation to indirect taxes Develop, document and ensure adequate processes for handling GST.

- Litigation coordinate and manage the use of external advisors and counsel to support filing of responses/submission of information to tax authorities.

- Work with compliance and tech teams ensure adequate information is being recorded in the systems as may be required for the purpose of GST audit/ litigation.
