Role Summary:
As the QA Executive for Private Label Quality at the vendor's end, the role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products sourced through our vendors. This position involves overseeing raw material (RM) checks, monitoring vendor processes, and ensuring the highest standards of in-process quality control (IPQC) and final goods (FG) release. Additionally, the candidate will manage customer complaints, drive root cause analysis (RCA), implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure seamless coordination with the sourcing team.
Key Responsibilities:
â Perform comprehensive RM checks at all vendor locations to ensure adherence to predefined quality standards.
â Collaborate with vendors to resolve noncompliance issues promptly.
â Oversee IPQC activities to ensure efficient and effective sorting, grading, cleaning, and packing processes.
â Implement and monitor control measures to maintain product consistency and reduce rework or wastage.
â Ensure all FG are rigorously inspected before release to confirm compliance with specifications and packaging standards.
â Identify and address deviations to prevent market complaints.
â Supervise vendor manufacturing and processing practices to ensure alignment with company quality guidelines.
â Support vendors in achieving operational excellence through continuous improvements.
â Conduct regular audits of vendor facilities and processes to evaluate adherence to quality systems and food safety standards.
â Generate detailed audit reports and ensure closure of identified gaps within stipulated timelines.
â Analyze trends in customer complaints to identify recurring issues and potential areas of improvement.
â Lead the resolution of complaints by implementing robust corrective measures.
â Perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
â Ensure documentation and reporting of RCA and CAPA for internal review and vendor feedback.
â Collaborate effectively with the sourcing team to ensure vendor alignment with company requirements and quality objectives.
â Act as the bridge between vendors, sourcing, and QA teams to resolve escalations.
Qualifications and Skills:
â Bachelorâs degree in food technology, quality management, or a related science field.
â 2-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably one year in the specific domain of FMCG-Food or staples industries.
â Strong knowledge of quality assurance standards like RM, in-process quality checks, and FG processes and checks.
â Proficiency in conducting audits and implementing RCA & CAPA.
â Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
â Ability to manage multiple vendors and prioritize tasks effectively.
â Familiarity with tools and techniques for customer complaint analysis.

â Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with vendors and internal teams.
â Resilience under pressure with a focus on delivering results.
Work Location:
Frequent travel to vendor locations across different locations is required.
Salary: INR 5 Lakhs
